Welcome to River's Edge Taxidermy,
where dreams of a magnificent trophy mount become reality. At
River's Edge we strive to create the life like mounts you desire.
The taxidermist working on your trophy is Chris Kreiner. Chris
is an avid outdoorsman, with a great passion for anything to do
with the outdoors.
Chris
was fortunate enough to harvest this beautiful 136" whitetail
on November 10th, 2005 which ultimately pushed his desire to become
a taxidermist. After shooting this buck Chris found himself in
a nightmare trying to locate a high quality taxidermist. However
during this endevor Chris found a local taxidermist who had 25
years experiance and was willing to teach the basics of taxidermy.
So
it began, In the summer of 2006 Chris became a State Licensed
Taxidermist and a Member of the Michigan Taxidermy Association
in the Spring of 2007. His first year competing he was awarded
three 3rd Place professional ribbons. One of those ribbons were
on his first ever full body mount coyote, which was later purchased
by Cabela's to be used in one of their stores. With competition
and seminars Chris learned many more details and qualities that
should be included in todays commercial mounts.

"As a TV personality that spends
a large amount of time hunting and enjoying the great outdoors
that God has so graciously given us. I can tell you that
Rivers Edge and Chris Kreiner is my taxidermist.
Their speed is incredible and the quality is unsurpassed.
If you want the best, and you don’t have an ego that makes
you want to overpay, Chris is your choice.
One of the many things that I admire about him
is that he is an outdoorsmen. The painstaking effort he
took to make my mounts look real and gorgeous, demonstrated to
me integrity to the animal that I harvested and sport we all cherish.
He is an artist. The rainy night I brought him my latest
animals; he spent painstaking detail asking me questions about
the animal and any nuances that I had noticed. I personally
like that he is one of us. He is an outdoorsmen. He
acted like my mounts were his and I am thankful for that.
You will not be disappointed when one of not only
Michigan’s, but also America’s most prominent young
taxidermists mounts your animal that will become a family heirloom.
I trust Chris and encourage you to also.
I will see you sometime when I bring my next mount to Rivers Edge.
Best wishes and shoot straight!
Go State!"
