River's Edge Taxidermy – Ionia, Michigan

Welcome to River’s Edge Taxidermy, where dreams of a magnificent trophy mount become reality. At River’s Edge we strive to create the life like mounts you desire.  We are located in the heart of Ionia County Michigan, just outside the City limits of Ionia.

The taxidermist working on your trophy is Chris Kreiner. Chris is an avid outdoorsman, with a great passion for anything to do with the outdoors.  He was fortunate enough to harvest a beautiful 136" whitetail on in 2005 which ultimately pushed his desire to become a taxidermist. After shooting this buck Chris found himself in a nightmare trying to locate a high quality taxidermist. However during this endeavor Chris found a local taxidermist who had 25 years experience and was willing to teach the basics of taxidermy.

In the summer of 2006 Chris became a State Licensed Taxidermist and a Member of the Michigan Taxidermy Association in the Spring of 2007. His first year competing he was awarded three 3rd Place professional ribbons. One of those ribbons was on his first ever full body mount coyote, which was later purchased by Cabela’s to be used in one of their stores. With competition and seminars Chris learned many more details and qualities that should be included in today’s commercial mounts.
